WHAT IS A CONSULTANT? 

A consultant can be many things to many people.  The dictionary defines a consultant as:   "an expert in a particular field who works as an advisor either to a company or to another individual."  A consultants job is to "consult" nothing more, nothing less.  I believe a consultant should be knowledgeable in the area he or she is consulting in.  Here are some of the top reasons a company or an individual may hire a consultant:
